At Stars Align Cane Corso Puppies, we are deeply committed to the health, safety, and happiness of every Cane Corso puppy that finds a loving home through us. All puppies purchased from our website come with a minimum one-month health guarantee from the breeder.
We encourage all families to review the pet protection and animal welfare laws applicable in their state, as these govern the rights and responsibilities of both the buyer and the breeder.
Veterinary Examination & Buyer Options
Every Cane Corso puppy undergoes a professional veterinary examination within ten (10) days after purchase. If a licensed veterinarian identifies a serious health issue or chronic illness during this period, the buyer may choose one of the following options within five (5) to ten (10) days of purchase:
Return the puppy for a full refund.
Return the puppy and exchange it for another of equal value.
Return the puppy and receive reimbursement for veterinary fees (not exceeding the puppy’s purchase price).
If the breeder has already issued a signed and stamped veterinary health certificate, these options will not apply.
If a licensed veterinarian later confirms that the puppy has a congenital or hereditary condition that affects its health — or if the puppy passes away from such a condition — you may still select one of the options above.
Within 24 to 72 hours of purchase, you will receive the full details of the veterinarian who examined your puppy, including name, address, and contact number. If you fail to notify the breeder of any health concern within 72 business hours, the guarantee becomes void, and the buyer assumes full responsibility for the puppy’s care.
State Regulations & Breeder Compliance
Each U.S. state has its own pet purchase and welfare laws. All breeders associated with Stars Align Cane Corso Puppies comply with these laws, offering at least a one-month health protection period. If your state requires a longer coverage period, we will honor that requirement.
It is strictly illegal for any breeder to falsify health records or misrepresent a puppy’s health condition in violation of state or federal law.
Extended Health Guarantee
Some breeders within our network may also offer an extended hereditary health guarantee, covering verified genetic illnesses confirmed through licensed veterinary examinations and lab tests.
This extended guarantee does not cover regular veterinary expenses, preventive care, minor or temporary conditions, or issues resulting from accidents, neglect, or improper care. Buyers must present official veterinary documentation to the breeder before any reimbursement or replacement can be processed.
All Cane Corso puppies are given age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming treatments according to veterinary schedules. New owners must take their puppy to a licensed veterinarian within 48 hours of arrival for a follow-up health exam.
Serious Health Concerns & Replacement Policy
If a licensed veterinarian diagnoses a life-threatening genetic defect or major health issue during the initial examination, a replacement puppy will be provided (subject to availability), provided the breeder is notified within 24 hours.
The puppy must be returned along with its registration papers and a signed veterinary report confirming the diagnosis. Veterinary inspection fees and related expenses are the buyer’s responsibility.
Please note: Common and non-life-threatening puppy conditions such as uneven bites, undescended testicles, mild heart murmurs, fleas, mites, ringworm, kennel cough, coccidia, giardia, or minor hernias are not covered under this guarantee.
Infectious Diseases Disclaimer
Stars Align Cane Corso Puppies is not responsible for Parvovirus, Distemper, or Coronavirus infections diagnosed more than two (2) days after purchase, as these illnesses can develop rapidly once the puppy has left the breeder’s environment.
12-Month Genetic Health Guarantee
We also provide a 12-month health guarantee from the puppy’s date of birth, covering any life-threatening genetic or congenital defects.
This guarantee excludes Parvo, Distemper, heartworms, or nutrition/virus-related illnesses. If such a defect is verified by a licensed veterinarian, the puppy will be replaced with another of equal value, subject to availability. Refunds are not offered.
A written veterinary report is required for claim processing, and all veterinary bills remain the buyer’s responsibility. In the event of a puppy’s death, a veterinary explanation or necropsy report must be submitted before any action can be taken. The breeder is not responsible for medical or cremation costs.
Registration & Ownership Terms
All companion Cane Corso puppies are sold with Limited Registration, which requires that the puppy be spayed or neutered after 27 weeks of age. Puppies sold for show or breeding come with Full Registration, though no guarantees are made regarding future titles, show performance, or breeding capabilities.
At the time of sale, each puppy’s pedigree, temperament, and conformation are assessed and considered suitable for their intended purpose.
Vaccination & Ongoing Care
Each puppy from Stars Align Cane Corso Puppies receives current vaccinations and deworming treatments while in the breeder’s care.
These health records are provided to every buyer, who must continue with the recommended vaccination schedule and annual boosters under the supervision of a licensed veterinarian to maintain long-term health.
Legal Agreement & Dispute Resolution
In the event of any legal dispute between the breeder and the original buyer, the buyer agrees to cover all legal and court-related expenses incurred by both parties. Any such proceedings shall take place within the state and jurisdiction of the breeder.
